Every 3 Months
Inspect all warning and caution labels affixed to this unit. If they are
worn, torn or otherwise unreadable, replace the warning labels.
Inspect and clean and tighten all weld power connections.
Maintain Your Engine
Refer to the engine manual for routine maintenance on the engine.

Touching live electrical parts can cause fatal shocks or severe burns. Do not touch live electrical
parts.
Wear dry, hole-free insulating gloves and body protection.
Turn off the engine before installing, maintaining or servicing this equipment.

CAUTION
Be aware that the electrode will be electrically HOT when the engine is running.

Auxiliary power
does not work.
Auxiliary power switch or circuit
breakers are open.
Check the auxiliary power switch and
circuit breakers on the front panel of
the unit.
Engine speed is too low.
Increase engine throttle.
Amperage control is not at MAX
setting.
Turn the amperage control to the
maximum setting for auxiliary power
output.
Cannot create an
arc.
Work piece is painted or rusty.
Remove all paint and rust.
Ground clamp is connected where
there is paint or rust.
Remove all paint and rust so ground
clamp is connected to bare metal.
Ground clamp is not electrically
connected to the work piece.
Make certain the ground clamp is
connected to the work piece.
Amperage is too low for electrode.
Consult the electrode packaging for
correct amperage settings.
