12.4 Mounting the TFT Screen on the VESA Mount
• Hold the TFT screen against the 2D VESA
mount
at the desired height (see
recommendations in section 10 “Mounting
Recommendations for VESA Brackets”,
page 39) and mark the drill holes on the
2D VESA mount
.

WARNING
Risk of injury from falling TFT screen!
The 4 Allen cylinder screws M4 x 20 mm DIN 912 must be adapted to the TFT screen. If
the length of engagement is not sufficient, the TFT screen can fall down. If the engagement is
too deep, the TFT screen can be damaged and rendered unusable:
•
Make sure the screws engage at least 5 mm deep, even where a deeper thread insert is
used.
•
Observe the information by the manufacturer of the TFT screen regarding screw lengths
and tightening torque.
•
Place 1 contact washer D4,1 on each of the 4 cylinder screws .
• Screw the 2D VESA mount onto the TFT screen using 4 cylinder screws . Screw
2 cylinder screws through the drill holes , not the elongated holes.
•
Tighten 4 cylinder screws according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer of
the TFT screen.
