Sleep function
to save power; this is activated if the watch is kept in a dark place over
a long period. The hands stop at 12
o’clock; and when exposed to light, the saved time gets
displayed again. If the dark phase is relatively long, the watch becomes again active by
pressing any button.
Important startup instructions for the solar-powered radio-controlled watch
Under normal circumstances, the watch will run smoothly without requiring any other settings, provided it does not suffer undue impact or exposed to a strong
magnetic field. First of all, do a manual calibration / basic setting (Item 5).
1. Charge power cell
Make sure that the chargeable power cell is sufficiently charged; refer to Charge status display (Item 10).
When not in use, you should keep your watch in a place where there is adequate incidence of light.
Attention: if the power cell is fully discharged for a long period, the watch may become damaged (warranty is excluded).
2. Accessing functions through button C
By pressing the button
C
, you can select any of the following modes:
Mode 1
Mode 2
Mode 3
Analogous time zone and digital date
Analogous time zone, digital time zone and
Analogous time zone and stopwatch

3. Transmitter call
manually / automatically
When Mode 1 or Mode 2 is displayed, press the button
A
for approx. 3 seconds
to call the transmitter. The seconds hand stops and the transmitter call begins;
this operation takes about 3 to 8 minutes. If the transmitter call was successful,
the antenna icon will appear in the top left of the LCD field.
(The transmitter call is made automatically every night between 3 and 4 am.)
4. Changing the analogous time zone manually, analogous time and date
Language setting for the weekday display
When Mode 1 is displayed, press the button
B
for about 3 seconds. This changes to programming mode.
The analogous time zone starts flashing; to change it, press the button
A
.
Now press the button
C
to confirm the setting and to set the DST (Daylight Saving Time / Summer time)
for the analogous time. Press the button
A
to deactivate / activate this function. The large LCD field
displays DST in tiny letters, if summer time has been set. Now press the button
C
for setting also the
hours, minute, year, date and month accordingly as well as the language of your choice (see Product
features) for the weekday. Use the button
A
to make changes, and the button
C
to jump to another
selection. To complete the settings, press the button
B
, now the hands and the LCD Display begin to
calibrate to the settings you have made.
