5/ DETERGENT PRODUCTS AND ADJUSTING THE WATER SOFTENER

Important:

You can deactivate the “Salt” and “Rinsing product” lights when using multi-purpose pro-

ducts; this is done using the “Set” button (page 17).

• Loading the multi-purpose tablet dispenser

To assist in loading the detergent, the distributor is situated on the front of the upper basket. It is
compatible with all the products recommended for dishwashers.

• Place the tablet

in the external compartment (Fig 11 on previous page) or, for optimum

results, pull out the distributor’s drawer and lay the tablet inside (Fig 12 on previous page).
- Close the dispenser.

• FOR MULTI-PURPOSE PRODUCTS

• Your machine can be specially adjusted to use multi-purpose products if the
water hardness is < 25°F.
• To adjust the water softener on the control panel:

— This is set using the

“Set”

button; a long press on the button provides access to the menus. Short

presses are then used to access the water softener. Turn the program dial to set the water softener.
— The setting is shown on the screen as a value from

c0

to

c5

.

• To select the “4-in-1” option:

— This is set using the

“Set”

button; a long press on the button provides access to the menus.

Short presses are then used to set the water softener.
— In order to use multi-purpose tablets, you must alter this setting. To do this, turn the programme selec-
tor to

c0

or

c1

, depending on the hardness of the water.

— Continue pressing the

“Set”

button via short presses until the “4-in-1” light flashes; turn the pro-

gramme selector to activate.

USE 4 in 1 (Dry+)

corresponds to activation of the “4-in-1” option with the “Extra Dry” setting.

“Extra Dry”

improves drying results in the event of lower performance from the multi-purpose

tablets.
—

USE 4 in 1 (Sparkle)

corresponds to activation of the “4-in-1” option with the “Sparkling Clean”

setting. “Sparkling Clean” prioritises your crockery’s brilliant shine.
— If the programme selector is not turned again, the selected setting is validated automatically
after 10 seconds.
