Wooden surfaces
• Wooden surfaces should be wiped with a damp cloth. Remove stubborn stains with
a detergent solution.
Cooking grid
• Use a mild soapy water solution. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaning
powder can be used, then rinse with clear water.
Grid and plate
• If your grill accessories have a chrome-plated surface or are made of porcelain
enamel, clean the surface with a soap solution or a non-abrasive detergent. Dry
thoroughly before storage.
• If the grill accessories are made of cast iron: Clean them with a soap solution or
a non-abrasive detergent. Dry it thoroughly and lubricate it with a vegetable oil
before storage. It is recommended to do this after each use.
Burner assembly
• Turn off the gas supply with the control dial on the gas grill and remove the gas
cylinder.
• Remove the grill grate.
• Clean the burner with a soft brush or blow it clean with compressed air and wipe it
with a cloth.
• Clean all clogged ports with a pipe cleaner or stiff wire (e.g. an open paper clip).
• Check the burner for damage (cracks or holes). If you notice any damage to the
burner, replace it with a new burner.
• Reinstall the burner. Check that the gas valve orifices are correctly positioned and
secured inside the burner inlet (venturi).
Maintenance of the gas grill
• Your gas grill should be serviced at least once a year by a qualified person
Storage
• If you want to store your grill indoors, always keep the gas container outdoors,
away from direct sunlight and flammable materials.
• Do not store the gas container in the basement or non-ventilated areas.
If you want to store your gas grill for a longer period of time:
• Clean the grill and rub the grill surface with vegetable oil. Store the grill indoors.
• Remove the burners and lubricate them with vegetable oil. Wrap them in
newspapers.
• Protect your appliance with an adapted cover or a blanket.
• If you use your appliance after a long period of storage, perform a leak test.
