OPERATION 4-ZONE HOB
Before first use
Note
: Clean the surface of the hob before using it for the first time (see section
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE ).
• Switch on each hotplate in turn for 5 minutes at the maximum setting. This eliminates
odours and moisture that have formed in the heating elements during transport.
• Do not switch on more than one hotplate at a time at this stage.
• Before switching on the respective hotplate, place a pot half-filled with cold water
on the hotplate.
