OPERATION
Regulating the heating power
1. Switch on the appliance with the power switch. Press the Circle-Button. The number “88” will flash
on the display.
2. By pressing the MODE-button the appliance will commence to work at high power. By pressing
the MODE-button you can rotate through the different power levels (2 X for medium power, 3 X
for low power, 4 X and the appliance goes to Standby).
Setting the temperature
1. Switch the appliance on.
2. Press the (Circle).button. The number “88“ will flash on the display.
3. Press the MODE button for the heater to start to work. Press the C°/F°-button. The number 24°C
or 75°F and a thermometer symbol appear on the display. The thermometer symbol flashes.
4. Use the °C/°F button to choose the temperature display in degrees Celsius or in degrees Fahrenheit.
5. Use the “+“/“-“ buttons to set the aspired room temperature. The values can be read off the
display.
ATTENTION:
• The radiator will now commence heating. The thermometer symbol flashes throughout the process.
• When the aspired temperature has been reached, the thermometer symbol stops flashing and will
be lit constantly.
• The thermometer symbol will start flashing again as soon as the room needs to be heated up
again.
• Press the “+”/“-“ buttons to change the aspired room temperature at any time.
Program the Switch-off Timer
1. Press the MODE button one more time as soon as the temperature has been set. “AUTO OFF“ will
flash on the display.
2. Press the “+”/“-“ buttons to set a time between 1 and 24 hours. The time can be read off the
display.
3. After about 10 seconds the “AUTO OFF” display stops flashing and is lit constantly. The radiator
will switch off at the designated time.
Program the Switch-on Timer
1. Press the MODE button twice after the temperature has been defined. “AUTO ON“ flashes on the
display.
2. Press the “+”/“-“ ” buttons to set a time between 1 and 24 hours. The time can be read off the
display.
3. After about 10 seconds, the “AUTO ON“ display stops flashing and is constantly lit. The radiator
will switch on at the designated time.
Frost Guard Function
1. Connect the radiator to an earthed socket.
2. Switch on the appliance with the power switch. The power indicator lights up, the display remains
dark.
3. If the temperature plummets below 5 °C, the radiator will switch itself on at setting 3. The display
lights up.
4. As soon as the room has been warmed the radiator will switch back to standby mode causing the
display to switch off.
Shutting Down
1. Press the (Circle) button until the display switches off.
2. Switch the power switch to “0“. The power indicator switches off.
3. Disconnect the plug from the mains.
