carefully before using the product, and operate it in accordance with this
manual. Please save this manual for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact us or other technical personnel.
• For cleaning all you need is a dry, soft and clean cloth.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other
inflammable, chemical solutions.
• Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
• Use the included Micro-USB cable to connect the Clip-Tuner to any USB
charger to a PC or laptop.
• During charging, the battery symbol will show a flashing bar. When the
device is fully charged, all four bars will flash permanently.
• For maximum durability of the battery, recharge every six months, even if it‘s
not in use. After it‘s lifespan, dispose properly.
OPERATION
Use the clip to attach the device to your instrument. Press and hold the On/Off
button, the device is now in the mode determined by the position of the display
(Tuner/Metronome).
Tuner:
Choose a tuner mode by repeatedly pressing button 1 (C: Chromatic, G:
Guitar, B: Bass, U: Ukulele, V: Violin). The set tuner mode will be retained after
switching off the device. The reference pitch can be set between 430 to 450 Hz.
Use buttons 2 or 3 to raise or lower the reference pitch. By holding down the
buttons, the pitch will change continuously.
When the device is set to chromatic mode, it will show the detected key in the
display. If it is set to a instrument mode, the display will show the key and the
number of the string. The indicator shows if the played note is in tune (blue light
in the middle), too low (yellow light on the left) or too high (red light on the right).
Metronome:
To choose one of the nine rhythm styles, repeatedly press button
1. The set rhythm style will be retained after switching off the device. Use the
button 2 or 3 to set the tempo between 30 and 260 bpm. By holding down the
buttons, the tempo will change continuously. To stop the metronome, press and
hold button 1.

of used batteries and accumulators (BattVO) dated March 27, 1998 (BGBl. I
S. 658)) we as seller inform that the customer as end consumer is obliged to
return used batteries by law. Batteries can be returned free of charge after use
to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity. If batteries are
sent to the seller, sufficient postage is to be paid. The the symbol of the wheel
bin means that the batteries contain heavy metals and harmful chemicals that
may not be disposed of in household or commercial waste. The abbreviations
under the symbol mean: “Cd” (Cadmium), “Pb” (Lead), “Hg” (Mercury)
DISPOSAL ADVICE FOR EEE-ARTICLES
Our customer is obliged to return the EEE-article after its lifespan separately
from the household or commercial waste. EEE-articles can be returned free of
charge after use to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity.

CONTROLS AND DISPLAY
To switch from tuner mode to metronome mode, rotate the display by 180˚.
In a range of ± 45˚ the device will stay in metronome mode.
1 On/Off (press and hold for 2 sec) tuner: change tuner
mode; metronome: change the beat
2 Tuner: tuning up; metronome: tempo down
3 Tuner: tuning down; metronome: tempo up
