Features of the milk frother
The milk frother can be used for the following types of preparation:
- Frothing and heating milk
- Heating milk (without frothing)
- Frothing milk (without heating)
- Making mixed milk drinks
The buttons on the control element have the following meanings:
Using the milk frother
Frothing and heating milk
1. Place the frothing attachment on the mandrel in the milk container.
2. Fill the milk container with at least 75 ml of milk (
MIN
mark), but no more
than 150 ml of milk (
MAX
mark).
3. Place the lid on the milk container.
4. Press one of the left three buttons on the control element, depending on
the desired amount of foam, to heat and froth the milk.
Heating milk
1. When heating milk without frothing, place the mixing attachment on the
mandrel in the milk container.
2. Fill the milk container with at least 75 ml of milk (
MIN
mark), but no more
than 300 ml (
MAX
mark).
3. Place the lid on the milk container.
4. Press one of the left three buttons on the control element to heat the milk,
depending on the desired amount of froth.
Frothing cold milk
1. When frothing milk without heating, place the frothing attachment on the
mandrel in the milk container.
2. Fill the milk container with at least 75 ml of milk (
MIN
mark), but no more
than 300 ml (
MAX
mark).
3. Place the lid on the milk container.
4. Press the outer right button to froth the milk cold.
Making mixed milk drinks
1. When heating milk without frothing, place the stirring attachment on the
mandrel in the milk container.
2. Fill the milk container with at least 75 ml of milk (
MIN
mark), but not more
than 300 ml (
MAX
mark).
3. Place the lid on the milk container.
4. Press the (low speed), (medium speed) or (high speed) button to heat the
milk or liquid.
After preparation
Remove the lid from the milk container and pour the foam or beverage out. If
you do not want to pour any foam out, leave the lid on the milk container
when pouring. In this case, the pouring gap of the lid must be above the
pouring muzzle.
Symbol
Meaning
The milk or the contents are foamed without
being heated. A medium amount of foam is
produced.
The milk is heated and foamed. A medium
amount of milk foam is produced in relation to
the remaining milk.
The milk is heated and foamed for a short time.
Comparatively little milk foam is produced in
relation to the milk.

Frothing attachment.
If the frothing attachment is
used, the amount of milk should not exceed the
MAX
indicator next to the symbol on the left (corresponds
to a maximum of 150ml of milk).
Mixing attachment.
If the mixing attachment is used,
the amount of liquid should not exceed the
MAX
indicator next to the symbol on the left (corresponds
to a maximum of 300ml of liquid).
Filling level of the milk container
There are different amounts of liquid that can be filled into the milk container
with regard to the minimum or maximum filling level. The main difference is
which attachment is being used. The same minimum fill level (indicated by
MIN
) applies to both attachments, but a different maximum fill level needs to
be taken into account.
The milk is heated and frothed for a longer time.
A lot of solid milk foam is produced and little
milk remains.
