Before operating the device
General information
Cleaning and sample heating
• The warming drawer is intended exclusively for heating dishes and
keeping them warm.
• The appliance uses a hot air heating system. A fan distributes the
heat emitted by an element evenly in the drawer. The circulating air
ensures that the dishes warm up evenly and quickly.
• A protective grid protects you from touching the rotating fan or the
hot heating elements.
• Please keep these instructions as a reference and pass them on to
any future users.
Before using the device for the first time, proceed as follows:
• Wipe the appliance first with a damp cloth, then with a soft
cloth.
• Heat the empty drawer for at least two hours.
Also set the temperature control to „Maximum“ (see „Selecting a
temperature“).
It is important that you ensure that the room is well ventilated.
Metal components have a protective coating that can give off a
slight odour when heated for the first time.
The odour and any vapour produced will dissolve after a short
time. This is not an indication of a faulty connection or a device
defect.
