3. Using the hob
• Press the ON/OFF button.
After switching on, a signal tone sounds, all displays light up
for about one second and show or .
The hob is in standby mode.
• Now place suitable cookware centrally on the desired
cooking zone(s).
• Make sure that the surface of the hob and the bottom
of the cookware are clean and dry!
• Touch the selection control of the desired cooking zone.
The display next to the button will flash.
• Set the desired power level (1-15) for the selected cooking
zone by moving your finger over the slider bar or directly
touching a specific position of the slider.
• If you don’t choose a power setting within 1 minute,
the hob will automatically switch off.
• Of course, you can also adjust the power level during
operation. To do this, also first touch the corresponding
cooking zone selection key and then set the desired
power level.
