Using the timer

7.2 Setting the timer to turn a cooking zone off in
a specified time
Note:
In order to mark the cooking zone to which the
remaining time on the timer display refers,
a red dot next to the power indicator of the corres-
ponding cooking zone lights up.
1.
Select your desired cooking zone by touching the correspon-
ding selection control. If the zone is not yet in operation, first
set the desired power level.
2. While the power indicator of the cooking zone is still flashing,
touch the timer control
. The time indicator will flash.
3.
Set the desired time by touching the and controls.
4.
If you touch and hold the control for some seconds, the
timer is cancelled.
5.
When the time is set, wait 5 seconds. Then the timer indica-
tor will stop to flash, the timer will begin to count down and
the display will show the remaining time.
6.
When the set time has elapsed, the corresponding cooking
zone will be switched off automatically.
Note: If you want to change the time after the timer is set, you
have to start from step 1.
Note:
Touch the or control once to decrease or
increase by 1 minute.
Touch and hold the or control to decrease or
increase by 10 minutes.
If the set time exceeds 99 minutes, the timer will
automatically return to 0.
