comply with the local installation regulations and provisions, especially (in
Germany) the VAwS and the BGR500 Chapter 2.35.
4.9. Hazardous substances
4.9.1. Refrigerant R410A
First-aid measures:

After breathing in: Take the person affected out into the fresh air and provide rest, while
keeping yourself safe. Consult a doctor. Artificial respiration in case of breathing arrest.
 After skin contact: Leave clothing that has melted on the skin at first Rinse the areas
damaged by cold with luke-warm water (never use hot water). Do not rub! Cover with a
sterile cover. Arrange medical treatment.
 After eye contact: Rinse with clean water or eyewash solution for at least 15 minutes with
the eyelids open. Consult an eye specialist.
 After swallowing: Swallowing is not considered to be a possible exposure pathway, as the
refrigerant exists in the surroundings in a gaseous state.
Information for the doctor: Do not administer any catecholamines or adrenalin ephedrine
preparations.
Firefighting measures:
 Suitable extinguishing agents: The product itself does not burn. Match the extinguishing
measures to the surrounding fire. Cook containers with water spray.
 Particular hazards due to the substance, its combustion products or the gases produced:
Forms toxic and caustic gases and fumes on decomposition.
 Special protective equipment for fire fighting: Self-contained breathing apparatus and
acid-resistant protective suit in the immediate vicinity during use.
 Further information: The effect of fire can cause the container to burst or explode.
Ignitable gas-air mixtures possible under certain conditions.
