Handle and Door Clearances
If you are installing custom panels, the panels must allow certain clearances for the handles and for the door to swing open. First,
determine the types of handles you will be using and the door stop setting. Then, choose the appropriate scale drawing to use as a
template for creating the panels.
NOTE: For Overlay Series models, rout the
hinge side of the custom door panels to a
radius that is equal to at least half the
thickness of the panel if a 130˚ door swing is
desired. See “Adjust Doors.”
