2. Rear connections and battery operation
The USB-C socket "13" is used for MIDI data transmission to a PC and/or for power
supply.
Connect this jack to any 5V (min. 500mA) USB interface such as a PC USB slot or
USB power supply using the supplied USB cable to power the instrument.
Connect this jack to your PC using the included USB cable to transfer MIDI data. No
external driver is required for this, but a MIDI-capable APP (not included) is
required.
Use the 3.5mm headphone jack "14" to connect the device to headphones or an
external amplifier system. The internal speaker is deactivated in this case.
Note: Please be aware that too high volume or too long use of headphones can
cause hearing damage. Before plugging in headphones, turn the volume control to
the minimum volume and then gently select the desired level.
The instrument can be operated with 4 x 1.5V AA batteries. Make sure that the
battery compartment "15" on the underside of the instrument is always securely
closed. Observe the correct polarity when inserting the batteries. If you do not use
the instrument for a longer period of time, please remove the batteries.
