Cycle Status Indicators

Follow the progress of your dishwasher with the Cycle
Status Indicators. CLEAN glows when a cycle is finished.
The light turns off when you open the door or press
Cancel/ Drain.

Washing

WASHING glows at the start of the first fill of any cycle
(except Rinse Only) and remains on until the end of the
main wash.

Water Heating

WATER HEATING glows whenever water is heated during
a cycle. Wash or rinse action continues as the water heats.

Rinsing

RINSING glows during the last two rinses of all cycles.

Drying

DRYING glows during the drying portion of each cycle
(even if you select Air Dry). The indicator turns off at the
end of the cycle.

Clean

CLEAN glows when a cycle is finished. The light turns off
when you open the door, press Cancel/Drain, or press
another cycle or option.

Controls Locked

Lock the controls to prevent your dishwasher from
accidentally being turned on. Use the Lock feature, also, to
prevent accidental cycle or option changes during a cycle.

When CONTROLS LOCKED is lit, all buttons are disabled.
You can lock the dishwasher while the dishwasher is
running.

To lock the controls
Press and hold

for 5 seconds. CONTROLS LOCKED glows. If you press
any pad while your dishwasher is locked, the light flashes
3 times.

To unlock the controls
Press and hold AIR DRY for 5 seconds until the light turns
off.

NOTE: The dishwasher door can be opened while the
controls are locked.

Drying System

During drying, you can see steam escaping through the
vent at the upper left corner of the door. This is normal as
the heat dries your dishes.

IMPORTANT: The vapor is hot. Do not touch the vent
during drying.

Overfill Protection Float

The overfill protector (in the front right corner of the
dishwasher tub) keeps the dishwasher from overfilling. It
must be in place for the dishwasher to operate.

Check under the float for objects that may keep the
protector from moving up or down.
