Rising and lowering the centre column

To rise or lower the centre column, turn the centre locking knob counter-
clockwise and set the column to the desired position. While holding the column
in position, turn the column locking knob clockwise to secure the column in place.
Don’t over tighten the cent
re column lock, as this could damage the threads. (4)
b.
The centre column can be taken down and used as a monopod. Rotate the tube
anti-clockwise and pull it out to adjust the height. Rotate clockwise to lock at the
proper position. (5)
