Instruction For Use
■
To fill the kettle taking away the lid on top.
■
Put in at least enough water to cover the bottom of the kettle but never more than
the maximum (MAX).
■
To close the kettle, slide the lid until it is being locked.
■
Do not operate the kettle with the lid open or removed.
■
Place kettle on the base unit, engaging the 360 centigrade degrees base unit
connector.
■
The rotary type base unit allows you to place the kettle in any convenient position.
■
Plug in and switch on at the wall socket.
■
The neon light in RED will illuminate indicating that the kettle is connected to
power supply.
■
To start boiling, turn the temperature control in clockwise direction to BOIL. The
neon light in BLUE will illuminate indicating water is boiling. Water will be reboiled
from time to time and kept at highest temperature until the temperature control is
adjusted to another lower keep warm temperature in anti-clockwise direction.
■
For example, to turn the temperature control to about 60 centigrade degrees
means to keep the average water temperature at about 60 centigrade degrees
To remove the kettle from the base unit, grasp the handle and hold the kettle level
while lifting it clear of the base unit. Take extra care if the kettle is filled to MAX.
If you are using the kettle for the first time, pour away the boiled water and refill.
If you do not put in enough water, or switch on the temperature control when it is
empty, the safety cut-out will switch off the power automatically. If this happens, wait
a few minutes for the element to cool, then refill and use as normal.

The kettle must only be used with the base unit provided and is not to be filled
when located on the base unit.
■
Clean the filter by brushing GENTLY with a small soft brush under water.
■
Do not use a sharp object which may damage the filter mesh.
■
If the supply cord is damaged,it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

plugs or kettle in water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
