Replac

e

Replace

Remove the belt.

The belt tensioner winds in the same direction that the spring latch is bent over the tensioner body. To loosen

the tension on the belt, rotate the tensioner to wind the spring tighter. Pivot the tensioner in the direction of the spring latch.

Install the belt.

Pivot the tensioner in the direction of the spring latch and install the driven belt to cling with the water pump

pulley last. Slowly release the tensioner to exert tension to the driven belt.
