Intended use:
This Tile Saw is designed to perform cutting jobs on small to large tiles (floor and wall tiles made of ceramic and similar material) which
suit the machine’s size. Do not use this tile saw to cut wood or metal! This tile saw is to be used solely for its intended purpose. Any use
other than its intended use is a case of misuse. The user /operator and not King Canada shall be liable for any damage or injury
resulting from cases of misuse. Only suitable tile saw blades are to be used. Do not use saw blades! For this tile saw to be used as
intended, it is also important to observe the safety instructions, the assembly instructions, and the operating instructions set out in this
manual. All persons entrusted with operating and servicing this tile saw must be acquainted with the manual and must be informed about
the machine’s potential hazards.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
FOR TILE SAWS
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND
ALL SAFETY RULES AND OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES.
1.
Make sure
the power switch on your tile saw is in the ‘’OFF’’ position before plugging in.
2.
Do not leave
the tile saw unattended while it is running. Always return the power to the ‘’OFF’’ position when not in use.
3.
Always wear safety glasses
, dust mask and ear protection when operating the tile saw.
4.
Always remain alert
when the tile saw is in use. Inattention on the part of the operator may lead to serious injuries.
5.
Keep children away
. All visitors should be kept at a safe distance from work area.
6.
Always keep
the blade guard in the down position while operating the tile saw.
7.
Disconnect the tile saw
from its power source before installing or changing blades and before cleaning or servicing.
8.
Never stand on tool
. Serious injuries could occur if the tool is tipped or if the blades is unintentionally contacted.
9.
Do not
directly wash the bottom of the motor.
10.
Do not force
the material being cut. Always let the blade cut at its own speed.
11.
Do not force
the tool to do a job it isn’t designed to do.
12.
Make sure
you use the correct blade for the job you are doing. Only use tile saw blades with a minimum diameter of 6” and a
maximum diameter of 7”, having a 5/8” arbor.
13. This tile saw is equipped with a three-prong electrical plug.
Do not alter the plug
or use a two-prong receptacle.
14.
Keep your work space
clear and free of all debris.
15.
Keep the tile saw
clean and maintained to achieve the safest and highest performance for each job.
16.
Never use a cracked blade
, change the blade before using tile saw.
17.
Never cut tiles that are too small
to hold and guide into the blade.
18.
Fill the water tray
. Make sure the water tray is filled with water so that the tile saw blade turns through enough water. This is
necessary to cool the blade correctly.
19.
Make sure
the extension table is locked properly with the 2 lock knobs before operating this tile saw.
