1. KNOW YOUR TOOL

Read and understand the owners manual and labels affixed to the tool. Learn its

application and limitations as well as its specific potential hazards. 

2. DON’T USE

power tools in damp or wet locations or expose them to rain. Keep work

area well lit and provide adequate surrounding work space.

3. USE RIGHT TOOL.

Don’t force the tool or the attachment to do a job for which it was not designed.

4. WEAR PROPER APPAREL.

Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties or jewelry (rings, watch) because they

could get caught in moving parts. Non-slip footwear is  recommended. Wear 

protective hair covering to contain long hair. Roll up long sleeves above the elbows.

5. MAINTAIN TOOL WITH CARE.

Keep tool clean for best and safest performance. Follow instructions for operation

and changing accessories.

6. DISCONNECT TOOLS.

Before servicing, when changing accessories or attachments.

7. AVOID ACCIDENTAL STARTING.

Make sure the switch is in the ‘’OFF’’ position before plugging in.

8. USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES.

Consult the manual for recommended accessories. Follow the instructions that

accompany the accessories. The use of improper accessories may cause hazards.

9. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS.

Before further use of the tool, a guard or other parts that are damaged should be 

carefully checked to ensure they will operate properly and perform their intended

function. Check for alignment of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any

other conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or other parts which are 

damaged should be properly repaired or replaced.

DUST COLLECTOR

BEFORE USING THE DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM:

To avoid mistakes that could result in serious, permanent injury, do not connect the power

cord until the following steps have been completed:

1. Assembly, mounting and alignment.

2. Learn the function and the proper use of the switch.

3. Read and understand all safety instructions and operating procedures in this manual.

4. Always be aware of the hazards surrounding the usage of this machine. Always be

aware of the following hazards:

Fire Hazards

Metal shavings or dust can set sawdust on fire. Collect wood materials only. Do not

collect metal shavings or dust.

Electrical Hazards

Risk of electrical shock. Use indoors in dry area. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

Explosive Hazards

Sparks can ignite vapors from flammable products. Do not use around flammable products.

Miscellaneous Hazards

If connected to a circuit protected by fuses, use time delay fuses with this machine.

Hazardous moving parts inside. Unplug before removing inlet guard. Attach inlet guard

before plugging in.

• Do not vacuum, or use this Dust Collector near flammable or combustible liquids, gases,

gasoline or other fuels, lighter fluid, cleaners, oil-based paints, natural gas, hydrogen, or

explosive dusts like coal dust, magnesium dust, grain dust, or gun powder.

• Do not vacuum anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot

ashes.

• To avoid health hazards from vapors or dust, do not vacuum toxic materials.

BEFORE EACH USE:

1. Inspect your Dust Collector. If any parts are missing, bent, or fail in any way, or any

electrical components do not work properly, turn off and remove power cord from power

source. Replace damaged, missing or failed parts before using again.

2. Plan your work to protect your eyes, hands, face, ears and body.

A. WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES, FORESIGHT IS BETTER THAN NO SIGHT! Wear

safety goggles, not glasses. Operating any power tool can cause foreign objects to be

thrown into the eyes which can result in permanent eye damage.

B. When cleaning collection bags, wear a dust mask to prevent the inhilation of

dangerous particles.
