GETTING TO KNOW YOUR
POLISHER/SANDER KIT
OPERATION
TRIGGER ACTION
WARNING
: Before pluging into power source, make
sure the trigger switch can be pressed down smoothly
and will return to its “OFF” position when the trigger is
released. This Polisher/Sander is equipped with a
“Trigger Lock-On” button which is convenient when
continuous operation for extended periods of time is
required.
1) Press down trigger switch to start Polisher/Sander,
and release to stop. This Polisher/Sander has a
powerful “
Slow Start
” motor which starts slowly and
gains speed progressively, this is normal.
2) To have continuous operation, press down the trigger switch (A) Fig.1 and push the
“Trigger Lock-on” button (B) located on the side of the handle, then release the trigger.
3) The Polisher/Sander will continue running after the release of the “Lock-on” button. To
stop the tool, press then release the trigger switch.
4) When “Lock-on” feature is engaged during use and the tool becomes disconnected from
the power supply, disengage the “Lock-on” feature immediately.
VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL
This Polisher/Sander can operate at different speeds, the speed can be adjusted by using
the variable speed selector dial (C) Fig.1.
1) Hold the tool in normal operation, and turn the variable speed selector dial to increase
or decrease the speed.
2) To lock the switch on at a given speed, depress the trigger, push in and hold the
“Lock-on” button then release the trigger. Next, adjust the variable speed control
selector dial until the desired speed is reached.
INSTALLING “D” HANDLE
This Polisher/Sander comes with a “D” handle which can and should be mounted to the
housing. Remove both rubber plugs from each side of the housing, position “D” handle as
desired and fix the “D” handle to the housing with the supplied cap screws and the
supplied hex. key.
