PFX2532
Configuring the DC Power Supply
Test Condition Editor
To prevent overcharge or overdischarge, from BPChecker3000 set the software overvoltage
(overcharge) protection (S_OVP), software undervoltage (overdischarge) protection (S_UVP),
hardware overvoltage (overcharge) protection (H_OVP), and hardware undervoltage
(overdischarge) protection (H_UVP).
If the DC power supply’s OVP or OCP is activated during a charge/discharge test, PS/B alarm occurs
on the PFX2532, and the output is turned off. Turn off the DC power supply, and eliminate the cause
of the alarm. Then, turn on the DC power supply, and clear the alarm from BPChecker3000.
For details on the setup procedure, a description of the alarm that occurs when a protection
function is activated, and how to clear the alarm, see the operation manual of the DC power supply
that you are using.
Entering CONFIG settings
From CONFIG settings, set the required items as follows.
For details on the setup procedure, see the operation manual of the DC power supply that you are
using.
Setting the Lock Function
Set the lock function to prevent settings from being changed.
Depending on the model, you may not need to set the lock function.
1
Taking the voltage drop in the cabling between the PFX2532 and DUT into consideration, do not set it less than
110 % of the maximum charge voltage.

PWR-01
Hold down LOCK (SHIFT+PWR DSPL) to lock or unlock. The LOCK LED is lit while the keys
are locked.
PWR
While holding down SHIFT, turn the POWER switch on.
To release the panel lock, press LOCK again.
PAT-T
Because the PAT-T will be configured to be a slave unit, there is no need to set the panel
lock.
