Connecting to DC Power Supplies

Use the DC power supply connection cable and the I/F cable to connect the PFX2532 to a DC power
supply. The DC power supply connection cable is not supplied with the PFX2532.
This section explains an example of connecting a Kikusui Regulated DC Power Supply PAT-T using
the optional cable set TL10-PFX.
For wiring precautions and other items to be considered, see the DC power supply operation
manual.
Connecting the PFX2532 to a DC power supply

Check that all devices that you will connect are turned off.

Connect the DC power supply connection cable to the DC POWER SUPPLY
terminal of the PFX2532. Connect the solderless terminal with a red cap to the
positive DC POWER SUPPLY terminal and that with a white cap to the
negative.
Run the cable out as horizontal as possible, and fix it in place with screws.

If a chassis connection wire is connected to the PAT-T output terminal, remove
it.
The DC power supply output is used in a floating condition.

Run the other end of the DC power supply connection cable through the
OUTPUT terminal cover included with the PAT-T.
Cut the OUTPUT terminal cover sleeve according to the diameter of the cable.
