7 Repairs
7.5 Replacing the signal lamp
To replace the signal lamp ( 12 ), proceed as follows (see
Fig. 7-3) :
1. Before starting work, isolate the system from the
power supply. Secure the system from being
switched on again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so
that they cannot be touched.
2. Open the cover ( 4 ). To do this, loosen the two
screws ( 9 ).
3. Check the pull-rope emergency stop switch for dirt
and moisture. Remove dirt and moisture as
described in
Section 5.4.4: „Finishing work“, page
39 , steps 2 and 3 .
4. Rotate signal lamp ( 12 ) to remove it from its socket.
5. Insert a new signal light ( 12 ) and rotate it into the
socket.
Danger of death if the safety instructions are

Only an electrician may work on the device.

Ingress of dirt and moisture!
Dirt and moisture may cause the device to malfunction
and corrosion.
If dirt and moisture have penetrated the device, you
must clean and dry the device before you close the
hood.
Penetration of dust and moisture if seals are
damaged!
If the hood seal is damaged, dust and moisture may
penetrate the device and damage the device and its
components.
Check the seal for damage before assembly. Replace
the hood if the seal is damaged.
