BATTERY WARNINGS
• > i Ƌ uids on the ba Ʃ ery may cause Į re or electric shock.
Always keep all li Ƌ uids away from the ba Ʃ ery and keep
the ba Ʃ ery dry.
• Contact or exposure to ba Ʃ ery leakage (lead acid) may
cause serious injury. If contact or exposure occurs
immediately call your physician. If the chemical is on
the skin or in the eyes, Ň ush with cool water for ϭϱ
minutes. If the chemical was swallowed, immediately
give the person water or milk. Do not give water or
milk if the pa Ɵ ent is vomi Ɵ ng or has a decreased level
of alertness. Do not induce vomi Ɵ ng.
• a Ʃ ery posts, terminals and related accessories
contain lead and lead compounds (acid), chemicals
known to the State of California to cause cancer,
reproduc Ɵ ve harm and are toxic and corrosive. Never
open the ba Ʃ ery.
• Tampering or modifying the electric circuit system may
cause a shock, Į re or explosion and permanently
damage the system. Exposed wiring, circuitry in the
charger may cause electric shock. Always keep the
charger housing closed.
• Use of a ba Ʃ ery or charger other than the supplied 6V
rechargeable ba Ʃ ery and charger may cause a Į re or
explosion. Only use the supplied 6V rechargeable
ba Ʃ ery and charger with the vehicle.
• Using the 6V rechargeable ba Ʃ ery and charger for any
other product may result in overhea Ɵ ng, Į re or
explosion. Never use the 6V rechargeable ba Ʃ ery and
charger with another product.
• Explosive gases are created during charging. Charge
the ba Ʃ ery in a well ven Ɵ lated area. Do not charge
the ba Ʃ ery near heat or Ň ammable materials.
• Contact between the posi Ɵ ve and nega Ɵ ve terminals
may result in Į re or explosion. Avoid direct contact
between the terminals. Picking up the ba Ʃ ery by the
wires or charger can cause damage to the ba Ʃ ery and
may result in a Į re. Always pick up the ba Ʃ ery by it’s
case or handles.
• Do not use an extension cord when charging the car.
