Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) (if equipped)
/ Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
1. 2nd alert will operate when the
turn signal is turned on in the
direction of the detected vehicle.
2. If 䳒Warning Only䳓 is selected from
the User Settings menu, the colli
-
sion warning will operate when
your vehicle approaches the lane
the blind spot vehicle is detected.
When this alert is activated, the
warning light on the outside rear
-
view mirror will also blink. And a
warning chime will sound.
If you turn off the turn signal indi
-
cator, the second stage alert will be
deactivated.
Once the detected vehicle is no lon
-
ger within the warning area, the
warning will turn off according to
the driving conditions of the vehicle.
WARNING
䳜 The warning light on the outside
rearview mirror will illuminate
whenever a vehicle is detected at
the rear side by the function. To
avoid accidents, do not focus only
on the warning light and neglect
to see the surrounding of the
vehicle.
䳜 Drive safely even though the
vehicle is equipped with a Blind-
Spot Collision Warning. Do not
solely rely on the function but
check your surrounding before
changing lanes or backing the
vehicle up.
䳜 The function may not alert the
driver in some conditions so
always check your surroundings
whilst driving.
䳜 The driver should always exercise
extreme caution whilst operating
the vehicle, whether or not the
warning light on the outside rear

view mirror illuminates or there is
a warning alarm.
CAUTION
䳜 Playing the vehicle audio system
at high volume may prevent you
from hearing Blind-Spot Collision
Warning warning sounds.
䳜 The warning of Blind-Spot Colli

sion Warning may not sound
whilst other system's warning
sounds.
