Maintenance

Fuse removal/replacement

This section contains the information for replacing the U8903A rear panel AC line fuse.

Perform the following procedure to replace the fuse.

1

Use a tweezer to remove the fuse holder.

2

You will be able to see two fuses. The active fuse is the one on the right while 

the other is the backup.

3

Remove the active fuse and replace it with the one of the correct rating and 

type for your selected input AC line voltage.

NOTE

Ensure that you are using the quick-acting, low-breaking capacity 5 A/250 V

 

fuse.

WARNING

Ensure that you use the correct fuse rating for the selected AC line voltage. 
Do not use repaired fuses or short-circuited fuse holders to avoid any 
unexpected hazards.
