Installation Procedure for the Upgrade

Step 2. Reinstall the Gasket (x7), and Add New Polyiron to the New
Top Shield
1. Take the new shield N5245-20190 (item
➀
) and using your fingers or a
solder aid flat end or similar, re-install the gasket (x7, items [G1] through
[G7]). Refer to Figure 2 on page 9 and to Figure 4 .
2. Press the gasket down into the top shield at the pinch pad points. Some,
but not all of the pinch pad points are indicated in Figure 4 .
3. Take the new magnetic absorber plate (polyiron)—(similar to item

in
Figure 2 on page 9 ) and remove the adhesive paper. Take the new shield
N5245-20190 (item
➀
) and install the magnetic absorber plate (polyiron)
into the new top shield cut-out area (item
➁
) as indicated in Figure 4 .
4. After inserting all of the gasket segments and applying the pinch points
( Figure 4 and Figure 5 on page 11 ) turn the top shield over so the gasket
side is face down and verify the gaskets remain seated in the top shield.

When installing the gasket, be careful not to damage/stretch the gasket
material.
