a. From the System Admin Screen, choose option 1 Set up network .
b. From the new submenu, select the desired IP mode (using the SPACE key):
l
DHCP : make sure to have an active DHCP server running on the management subnet
(this is also the default setting).
l
Static : manually configure the Ixia Web UI IP address and netmask.
5. Configure the IxOS Windows IP address:
a. Choose option 3 Quit
from the
System Admin Screen
and when the login screen is prompted
type the following credentials:
l
username:
ixia
l
password: ixia
b. To login to the IxOS Windows machine, use the following username and password (also
shown in the bottom right corner of the login screen):
l
username: ixia
l
password: System Controlled Serial Number
c. Configure the IP address of the IxOS Windows as per your requirements.
d. To return to the System Admin Screen , use the following hotkey combination:
CTRL+ALT+F2. Then use the same credentials as mentioned at step 2:

username: admin
l
password:
admin
6. To apply the new settings, from the System Admin Screen choose option 4 Reboot system
(graceful)
