2000/3000 X-Series Oscilloscopes Service Guide

If you are testing a 2000 X-Series oscilloscope, set the probe attenuation to 1:1 

on the analog channel you are testing (for example, 

[1] > Probe > Probe

turn the 

 Entry knob to select 

1.00 : 1

Set up the oscilloscope.

Adjust the horizontal scale to 

200.0 us/div

.

Set the Volts/Div setting to the value in the first line in 

Table 8

 or

(depending on the oscilloscope model).

Adjust the channel’s vertical position knob to place the baseline (reference 

level) at 0.5 major division from the bottom of the display.
