General Results
The TDSCDMA PVT measurement used in the TDSCDMA mode is used in the Sequencer to return results
for TDSCDMA modulated signals.
The traces captured in primary acquisition and range extension acquisition are merged first. If averaging is
on and average number is N, the N PVT merged traces are averaged point by point aligning to the start of
the burst. Then, the trace is compared with the upper limit at the power off range and transition range
according to the standard. Please see the following table for details.
For more information on each result, see the online help for the relevant radio standard measurement
code.
The SCPI-only header values are as follows:
Meas Bitmap Header is a floating point number which appears ahead of the results for the analysis
interval; it is a decimal representation of the meas bitmap value for the measurements included in the
interval. The value returned for PVT results is 16. If more than one measurement is included in this analysis
step, then the value returned represents the combined meas bitmap value for all included measurements,
and the results are returned in ascending order of their meas bitmap values.
Number Of Results is a floating point number which appears ahead of the results of a measurement within
the analysis interval; it represents the number of results metrics returned by the measurement. The value
returned for PVT results is 15.

Overall Pass/Fail result shows the limit check result of Off power before, average power over –33rd ~ –14th chip,
and Off power after to their upper limit: –65 dBm, –50 dBm and –65 dBm respectively. Only when all these 3
powers are below their upper limits, can this overall pass/fail result be pass. This is the only pass fail result.
0:Pass, 1:Fail, –1:Not tested
1
Mean power is the mean power (in dBm) of the range specified by Analysis Time Slot and Measurement Time Slots
in the most recently acquired data. If averaging is on and average number is N, mean power is calculated after N
PVT traces are merged.
2
Burst width is the width of the first set of continuous active slots in the range specified by Analysis Time slot and
Measured Time Slots. If averaging is on and average number is N, burst width result is calculated by averaging N
burst width results.
