Quick Start
Location and Mounting

Location and Mounting

It is recommended to suspend the transceiver above the Device Under Test

(DUT), with the mmWave port pointed downwards at the DUT, so that heat

given off by the transceiver will rise away from the DUT. Leave a minimum

clearance of 2.5 inches (7 cm) around the transceiver. Also, ensure there is

enough room to attach all necessary cables between the transceiver and other

devices.

Do not place the transceiver against any surface in such a way as to block its

ventilation openings. Interfering with ventilation airflow can cause the

transceiver to overheat.
