Disconnect the power cord.

b

Remove the fan. See 

“To remove the fan"

on page 81.

Disconnect plug J3 from the power supply and from the system board.

Perform a continuity check on the “DC cable” (item

cable is shorted or open, replace it. If not, continue to the next step.

Reconnect the “DC cable” to the power supply, but not to the system board.
