Note ATEX fusing

WARNING

The EX marking identifies components and products

that satisfy the ATEX requirement (ATEX Directive

2014/34/EU).

WARNING

Use only ATEX system(s) and explosion-proof com-

ponents for potentially explosive zones. Separate

safety measures have to be taken for potentially

explosive zones:

Carry out an ATEX risk assessment according to

the valid EU Directive and define EX zones.
Check whether the pump(s) and other system

components (incl. accessories) are intended for

ATEX use and satisfy the requirements of the

defined zone.
Check whether the control unit is intended for

joint use with the pumps used and is an ATEX

variant.

In case of doubt, check the standards referred to and the

technical specifications (
