1. G E N E R A L
The Noisemeter is an high-sensitive electronic voltmeter
having a m a x i m u m s e n s i t i v i t y of 10 M/ f u l l s c a l e . Its
wide frequency range covers f r o m 10Hz to 5 0 0 k H z ( 1 m V
~ 3 0 0 V ) and the f i v e types of weighting are selectable.
In addition, D I N or C C I R quasi-peak or average
detection w i t h R M S display is selectable, making
possible S / N and noise measurements in accordance
w i t h J I S - A , D I N N O I S E , D I N A U D I O , C C I R and C C I R /
A R M standards.
The units are also provided w i t h an overload indicator,
a 10dB range relative reference adjustment and A C and
D C outputs.

e. A relative reference adjustment f r o m 0 10dB
makes possible relative measurements of s i g n a l s
w i t h respect to an a r b i t r a r i l y set reference level,
p a r t i c u l a r l y useful in S / N measurement.
f. A n overload indication prevents measurement errors
caused by d i s t o r t i o n not detected by the operator
by viewing the meter level for use w i t h the
weighting f i l t e r s .
