COMPANDER
The Compander (compressor/expander) allows higher clarity of sound, reducing
excessive noise. When activated, transmitted sound are compressed before being
sent and received sound are expanded when they arrive.
This function is activated when Channel type is Analogue.

Enter the Channel Menu mode {p.10}.

Press the or button to select “ ”.

Press the Menu button then press the or button to select your desired
value.
OFF The Compander function is deactivated.
ON The Compander function is activated.
• The icon appears on the display when “ON ” is selected.

Press the Menu button to exit the selection, then press the PTT switch or the
Side button to exit the Channel Menu mode.
