Self Programming Mode
SELF PROGRAMMING
Mode Entry
1. Hold PWR + PF2 + UP to enter the mode.
Indications
1. Yellow LED lights.
2. Announces “
Setup ”
Operations
1. Use the [ Up ]/ [ Down ] keys to select the key
assignment from the table.
2. Press [PF1] to confirm the function chosen
to be assigned to [PF1] Press
OR
2. Hold [PF1] for 2 sec to confirm the function
chosen to be assigned to [PF1] Hold .
OR
2. Hold [PF2] for 2 sec to confirm the function
chosen to be assigned to [PF2] Hold .
3. Hold the [ PTT ] for 3 sec. Radio will store
the current configuration and confirmation
tone sounds and radio is reset and back to
normal operation.
4. To exit without save, hold [ PWR ] key.
Power off tone sounds and radio is off
without key function changes.
