Dividing a track

Use the following procedure to divide a track
into two. The track numbers are adjusted
automatically.

Select the MD input and in-
sert a recordable MD.

number to be divided.

The track will be played back.

Find divided  point, press the
TRACK EDIT key repeatedly
until "

 DIVIDE ?" is displayed,

then press the SET key.

If "X DIVIDE" is displayed, the subsequent
operation will not be available (see page

53

).

Press the SET key again.

The track dividing point is displayed and
the audio of the 3 seconds around it will be
played repeatedly.

Adjust while listening to the repeated audio.
The dividing point can be adjusted in the
range between -31 and +31.

If you want to divide the track at another
point, cancel the DIVIDE operation then
restart the procedure from step
