ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment Conditions
Connect TP001 and TP002 to the 14.4 V power and
connect TP003 and TP004 to GND. Apply a black-and-
white 10-step wave (1.0 Vp-p) from the composite sig-
nal generator to TP008 (the signal GND should be com-
mon to the power GND). Press the V.SEL key to turn
the system on.
Chroma Contrast Adjustment
Observe TP201 in sync mode. Adjust SVR201 so that
the peak-to-peak voltage is 0.95 V
±
0.05 V.
LCD Preliminary Adjustment
Adjust the adjustment points in the following table so
that the voltages at the measuring test points become
as shown in the table.

LCD Adjustment
1. Observe TP313 (G OUT) in sync mode.
2. RGB AMP adjustment
Adjust SVR308 so that the voltage across black and
black (V

) is 4.0 Vp-p

0.1 V.
3. Contrast adjustment
Adjust SVR309 so that the voltage across black and
white (V
BW
) is 3.0 Vp-p
±
0.1 V.
Adjust the waveform with SVR309 and SVR304 so
that the voltage value is as shown in Figure 1.
4. Observe TP312 (R OUT) in sync mode.
5. Sub Brightness adjustment
Adjust SVR307 so that the voltage across black and
black (V
BB
) is 4.0 Vp-p

0.1 V.
6. Sub Contrast adjustment
Adjust SVR311 so that the voltage across black and
white (V
BW
) is 3.0 Vp-p
±
0.1 V.
7. Observe TP311 (B OUT) in sync mode.
8. Sub Brightness adjustment
Adjust SVR306 so that the voltage across black and
black (V
BB
) is 4.0 Vp-p
±
0.1 V.
9. Sub Contrast adjustment
Adjust SVR310 so that the voltage across black and
white (V
BW
) is 3.0 Vp-p
±
0.1 V.
As a result of the above adjustments, the staircase
wave should become as shown in Figure 1. Note
that the voltage values above are reference values.
