Input T o t a l Count operation m o d e :
If t h i s s w i t c h is pressed ( J B L ) , the current
measurement value indicated by the display L E D s
is ' h e l d ' and the counter is reset.
If pressed again ( J H L ) , a new measurement w i l l
be s t a r t e d . The display value being ' h e l d ' is not
u n t i l the new measurement is complete.
b. E v e n t T o t a l Counter ( T O T A L / 1 0 M H z ) Mode :
If t h i s s w i t c h is pressed (_«&.), the current
measurement value indicated by the display L E D s
is ' h e l d ' and the event t o t a l count is terminated.

The F U N C s w i t c h is provided to select the desired
operational mode f r o m the a v a i l a b l e modes.
The Mode Indication L E D is provided to enable the
user to see the measurement mode currently in use.
The f o l l o w i n g operational modes can be selected
w i t h t h i s s w i t c h :
a . k H z / 1 0 M H z ( frequency) measurement mode
The k H z / 1 0 M H z measurement mode is an
operational mode in which t h i s frequency
counter measures the frequency of an input
signal to C H A N N E L A . The measurement d a t a
w i l l be displayed in ' k H z ' .
A desired resolution value can be selected w i t h
G A T E s w i t c h @ .
Note : The m a x i m u m frequency to be handled
in t h i s measurement mode is 1 0 M H z . The
proper range should be used according to input
frequencies w i t h each range c h a r a c e r i s t i c s f u l l y
in mind.
b. M H z / 1 0 0 M H z (frequency) mode
The M H z / 1 0 0 M H z mode is an operational mode
in which t h i s counter measures the frequencies
of input s i g n a l s to channel A and outputs the
measurement d a t a to the display section. They
are displayed in MegaHerz ( M H z ) .
