an FM stereo broadcast with sufficient signal

System station is sending EON signals.
Operation buttons

Changes the seek mode. Each time
you touch the button, the seek mode
changes as follows:
• AUTO1: Auto search
• AUTO2: Tunes in stations in the
memory one after another.
• MANUAL: Manual search
[ ] Displays the other operation button
window.
• To hide the window, touch [ ].
[ ]
Displays the preset list.
• To hide the list, touch [
].
[AM] Selects the AM band.
[FM] Selects the FM band.
[ ]
Displays the <Graphic Equalizer>
screen. (Page 54)

] Searches for a station.
• The search method differs
according to the selected seek

[TI]*
Activates/deactivates TI standby
reception mode. (Page 29)
[SETUP] Changes the settings for radio

[AME] Presets stations automatically.

[PTY]*
Enters PTY search mode. (Page 28)
[MONO] Activates/deactivates monaural mode
for better FM reception. (Stereo effect
will be lost.)
• The MONO indicator lights up while
monaural mode is activated.
[LO.S]* Activates/deactivates the local seek
mode (See the right column.)
• To display all available operation buttons, touch
[ ] to display the other operation button window.
* Appears only when FM is selected as the band.

Tuning in FM stations only with strong
signals — Local Seek

Display the <Radio SETUP> screen.

The unit tunes in only to stations with sufficient
signal strength. The LO.S indicator lights up.
• You can also activate/deactivate the local seek by
touching [LO.S] on the other operation button
window.
To deactivate the Local function: Touch [LO.S] to
select [OFF]. The LO.S indicator turns off.
