Usable D.AUDIO
To control a Kenwood digital audio player from the main unit or
remote control unit, the Kenwood digital audio player connec-
tion cable is necessary.

Resetting the Microcomputer
The microcomputer may malfunction (unit cannot be operated,
or shows an erroneous display) if the power cord is unplugged
while the power is ON, or due to some other external factor. If
this happens, execute the following procedure to reset the mi-
crocomputer and return the unit to its normal operating condi-
tion.
(1) When the power is off (standby mode), press the [AUX]
and [4] buttons on the main unit until FACTORY RESET
appears.
(2) Unplug the AC cord and plug it back in if "RESET FIN-
ISHED" appears.
Memory back up function
Please note that the following items will be deleted from the
unit's memory if the power cord is disconnected from the AC
outlet.
• Input selector settings
• Volume level
• Sound control (preset equalizer, bass enhancement)
• Tuner setting
