OPERATING YOUR HEATER
Always choose a safe location for the heater, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined.
Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. This appliance requires no
installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance.
WARNING: Keep all objects at least 1 metre from the front, sides and rear of the appliance.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating or risk of fire, do not cover the heater.
WARNING: Never leave this appliance unattended when in use.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance with a programmer, remote-control system, separate
timer or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically.
Note: When the appliance is turned on for the first time, it may release a slight odour or
smoke. This odour or smoke is a normal occurrence caused by the initial heating of the
internal heating elements and should not occur again.
CONTROL PANEL
Press the On/Off button on the Control Panel to turn the heater on.
The LCD will display the current room temperature and the set temperature.
Select the desired temperature by pressing the Increase or Decrease Temperature buttons.
The heater operates between 5
°
C and 37
°
C. (The Working Mode button must be pressed to display
1000W/1300W or 2300W to generate heat.) Please note: Once the ‘room’ temperature is equal to or
greater than the ‘set’ temperature, the heater will stop generating heat.
Press the Working Mode button to select either 1000W, 1300W, 2300W or Prevent Frost.
Prevent Frost is for cooler climates where the temperature may drop below 2
°
C. Once this temperature is
reached, if Prevent Frost is selected, the heater will start generating heat until it reaches the Set
Temperature at which time it will stop generating heat.
Press the Turbo Fan button to increase heat output. The fan remains at the same speed; only the
element changes to create the greater/lesser heat output. Press again to turn off.
Press the Fahrenheit/Celsius button to display the preferred temperature scale.
The Timer button allows a time to be set between 1 to 24 hours. Press the Timer button until the
desired time is shown on the display (e.g. 01h 00m). Each press of the Timer button will increase the
length of time in 1 hour increments. The heater will countdown and once the selected time has elapsed
the heater will switch off automatically.
HEAT CONTROL SWITCH
Check that the Power Switch on the side of the heater is set to the Off position before
plugging the heater in and turning on the mains supply. Turn the Power Switch at the side
of the heater to the “I” position. You will hear a beep.

CONTROL PANEL
To turn the heater off, press the On/Off button on the Control Panel again. Then turn the Power Switch at
the side of the heater to “O” position.
