USING YOUR REFRIGERATOR

FILTER

Replace the water filter when the refrigerator control pad
Filter Reset indicator light turns on, or when your water
dispenser or icemaker performance decreases noticeably.

After changing the water filter cartridge, press and hold
the Filter Reset button for 3 seconds; indicator light will go
out.

1. Remove the old cartridge.

Place a container under 
the hole of filter holder.

NOTE:

When filter is being removed, the water drains
through the hole.

Rotate the knob of the 
cartridge counter 
clockwise.

Pull out the filter cartridge.

2. Replace with a new cartridge.

Take the new cartridge out of its packaging and 
remove protective cover from the o-rings.

With cartridge knob in the vertical position, push the
new filter cartridge into the cover until it stops.

Push it in firmly until you can turn it. Using its handle,
twist cartridge about 1/4 turn.

You will hear a snap when it clicks into place. 

3. 

Flush the water system after replacing filter. 
Flush 2.5 gallons through filter before use (flush for
approximately 5 minutes).
