Cycle Options
Operating Instructions
To select or delete the
Chime
,
Stain Treat
,
Energy Saver
, or
Extra Rinse
, press
Options
until the blinking light indicates
the desired option. Then, while it is blinking, press Select.
The indicator will light when the option has been selected.
It will no longer be lighted when the option has been re-
moved.
Not all options are available on every model or are com-
patible with every cycle. The indicator will not light if the
option is not available with that cycle.
The options selected for the cycle will be remembered and
recalled each time that cycle is selected in the future. To re-
turn to factory settings, press the
START/PAUSE
and
Select
buttons at the same time and hold until the signal sounds.
NOTE
To change the options once the cycle has begun, press
the
PAUSE
button, make the new selection and press
START
again.
Chime
A signal will sound at the end of the cycle if this option
is selected. The signal has an adjustable volume level or
can be turned o
ff
.
Stain Treat
Use the
Stain Treat
option to add a 5-minute soak in the
middle of the wash portion of select cycles.
Energy Saver
The
Energy Saver
option reduces the warm water tem-
perature a few degrees to save energy and also extracts
more water to reduce drying time.
Extra Rinse
Use this option when additional rinsing is desired to
remove excess dirt and detergent. It is recommended for
heavily soiled loads or if household members have sensi-
tive skin.
