SORT LAUNDRY AND LOAD WASHER
Refer to page 15.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT add detergent before beginning wash cycle (step 6 below) when using DETERGENT AMOUNT INDICATOR.

BEGIN CYCLE
Press the START/PAUSE button to begin the cycle. The door will lock, and
the washer will briefly tumble the load without water to measure its weight.
Washer will stop tumbling and DETERGENT AMOUNT INDICATOR bar(s)
will light up indicating size of load. One bar indicates a Light load and 4 bars
indicate a Heavy load.

TURN ON THE WASHER
Press the POWER button to turn ON the washer. The lights around the Cycle
Selector Knob will illuminate and a chime will sound. Refer to page 12.

SELECT A CYCLE
Turn the Cycle Selector Knob either direction to select the desired cycle. The
preset Wash/Rinse Temperature, Spin Speed, Soil Level, and Option settings
for that cycle will be shown. Refer to page 12

SELECT CYCLE MODIFIERS & OPTIONS
Default settings for the selected cycle can now be changed if desired. Use
the cycle modifier buttons as shown on page 19 (Wash/Rinse, Spin Speed,
Soil Level, and Chime).
NOTE:
To protect your fabrics, not all modifiers are available on all cycles.
Cycle options can also be added using the option buttons as shown on page
20–22 (Add Steam, My Cycle, Stain Treat, 2
nd
Rinse, Auto Soak,
Delay Start, Control Lock, Clean Washer, Smart Sense and Drum Light).
NOTE:
Not all options are available on all cycles. A different chime will sound
and the LED will not come on if the selection is not allowed.

PAUSE CYCLE
When the DETERGENT AMOUNT INDICATOR lights up, press the
START/PAUSE button to pause the cycle.

ADD DETERGENT
Add HE detergent to the detergent dispenser drawer based on the number of
lighted bars in the DETERGENT AMOUNT INDICATOR. Refer to page 17 for
details.

RESUME CYCLE
Press the START/PAUSE button to resume the wash cycle.
