SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using the equipment, and for the safety of yourself and others, you must read the

instruction manual and understand its contents. Always keep the instruction manual easily

accessible for the user of the equipment. It is a good idea to read the safety instructions

from time to time, both for your own safety and that of others. It is important that the user

understands that common sense and general caution are not built into the product, but must

be supplied by the user.

If the instruction manual gets damaged or in any other way cannot be used, new copies may

be ordered from:

Kellfri AB, Munkatorpsgatan 6, SE-532 37 SKARA, Sweden. Tel.: +46 (0)511-242 50

The general safety instructions can also be downloaded from Kellfri’s website:

www.kellfri.se.

Do not use the equipment or product if you feel ill, tired or are under the influence of alcohol.

Do not use the equipment or product if you are taking prescribed medication or drugs,

suffering from severe depression or mental illness.  Always comply with general rules of the

road and applicable rules stipulated by the Animal Welfare Act. People under the age of 15 are

not allowed to use the equipment.

PRODUCT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully read the instruction manual before using the machine.

•

The product may only be used in the way described in these instructions.

•

Never put your hands or feet under the machine without first stopping the equipment

and the tractor’s engine.

•

Never leave the equipment with the tractor engine running. Turn off the engine and

apply the parking brake when you leave the equipment – even for a short period.

•

Always disengage the machine before performing a service or maintenance work.

•

Only the operator may be present in the vicinity of the equipment while in operation.

•

Never let anyone ride on the equipment or the towing vehicle.

•

Never stand or walk beneath a raised implement without ensuring that it is properly

supported and locked.

•

Ensure that all guards are in place and are not able to come loose.

•

Two persons should always be present to handle heavy and unwieldy components

when mounting, handling and moving.

•

Risk of crushing! Never put your hands or feet on the implement’s spread auger

•

The PTO shaft must be guarded when it is fully extended. Make sure safety chains are

well anchored.

•

Observe maximum payload! Never overload the machine! Suspension devices on front

or rear three-point linkage should not lead to the permitted load on the tractor’s axles

and the tyres’ load capacity being exceeded

•

Fill the spreader’s hopper directly in the field. The spreader’s tank can be damaged when

transporting a full hopper.

Warning!

The original design of the machine must not, under any
circumstances, be modified without the approval of the
manufacturer. Unauthorised modifications and/or accessories
may cause life-threatening injuries or death to users and others.
