$KIHOME/.ki_setup
is usually
opt/kiS530/.ki_setup
.
4.
Go to line 33 in the file and change it to
setenv COMPUTERNAME q1234

1234
is your
QMO number).
5.
Reboot the computer to reinitialize the datahub.
Editing the icconfig_<QMO>.ini file
The
$KIHOME/IC/icconfig_<QMO>.ini
file is a system configuration file that defines the types of
instruments installed in the S540 system, matrix and terminal configuration, and default system
settings. Your Keithley field service engineer (FSE) configures this file when your system is installed.
The FSE can edit this file to reflect changes in system hardware or to set different default system
settings.
When editing the
icconfig_<QMO>.ini
file (where
<QMO>
is the system QMO number), follow the
guidelines below:
Make a backup copy of the file before making edits.
Use only upper case characters.
Do not use space or tab characters.
