Section 1: Introduction to S530 Diagnostics

After your test selections are made, Click the Save icon. If you want to run the matrix tests, select the 
Diag_Matrix PTM in the project tree and click the Run icon on the ACS toolbar to start the test. All of 
the selected matrix diagnostic tests will now execute. 

CVU diagnostic testing 

NOTE

 

For more information on how to conduct further testing of the S530 system, specifically for the Model 
4200-SCS CV unit, refer to the following section: 

S530 troubleshooting information

. 

Similar to the Diag_SMU and Diag_Matrix PTMs, the test parameters for Diag_CVU are displayed on 
the Setup tab GUI. All the test parameters for the CVU diagnostic are read-only and cannot be 
changed (see next Figure). 

To execute the Diag_CVU test, make sure the Diag_CVU PTM is selected in the project tree. Click 
the Run icon on the ACS toolbar. The test will execute and progress automatically.  

NOTE

 

The results display at the bottom of the window. Also, all tests must pass. Any failure is considered 
unacceptable, and adjustments must be made.
